Re: I know that boar!

That's fascinating! I just wrote in your journal that there are wild boars all around the street where I took that picture (Ikuta Road in Sannomiya, Kobe) so it never occurred to me that it might not be a purely Japanese piece.

It's a fountain; it drools. I took video I might upload later. =)

For some reason none of the pictures you post show up when I view your journal. And Etisalat is blocking the pictures from your website. What's up with that?

Oh, I forgot about that when I added you. =(

My own domain (katoributa.com) has been blocked. Cross your fingers for me that they unblock it soon... =(

Kobe is the best! And yeah, you can never get lost, because there's a sea to the south and a mountain to the north.

I had a really good pizza from the same menu; it was onion, potato, and corn. Great with Tabasco splashed all over it. I don't think any amount of hot sauce could rescue a broccoli pizza, though. Yeach!

Once I wondered out loud (while eating fried rice) how peas* and carrots would be on a pizza... Don and I both went "Oh!" for a moment, and then, "Ehhh.."

*That would be a "PEAS-za."

Hee. When in Boston last weekend, I stumbled across a chicken-cheese-and-broccoli pizza. I was so intrigued, I had to try a slice (dubaiwalla has pics, I do not).

It was actually very delicious! (But then, broccoli is one of my favourite veggies.)

Yeccch!

I'm overly adventurous, unless broccoli is involved. Actually my curiosity is occasionally great enough to try broccoli dishes put in front of me. I would never order a broccoli pizza on purpose.

p.s. The pizza pictured is salmon and broccoli!! Chicken and broccoli seems like a more natural combination.
