I have to admit, since only this line and the first photo appeared in my screen, my first thought was, "Don's mom flies?!?"

Lovely set of pics. Esp like the ones of the shisha pipes and the insides and outside of Jumeirah Mosques. If there's one thing I'll give religion, they got exquisite architecture right. Esp them Muslims.

Wow, that's pretty cool....two Februaries in a row now that you've had a visitor from here in the states. I think it should be a new yearly tradition that someone you know visit in Feb...

When I realized it was February, a couple of days ago, I started missing you crazier.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more.

If it's any consolation (and I'm not sure that it is...but) I've recently been accepted into a teacher certification program and plan to be teaching full-time before August. That in turn will increase my income and give me loads of time off...with pay. In short, I'll be more mobile and transportable.

So hooray for the future...boo for large oceans and low budgets.

> afternoon at the Lime Tree

So every time I scroll through my friends list, I find myself having to stop when this one catches my eye. (Mmmm, food. The best way to get mrputter's attention!)

Is it a sweet pie (with the brown parts being, for example, chocolate)? Or a savoury one (with the brown parts being, for example, gravy)?

Either way, it looks damn good!

Fooooooooooood!

That was apple bread pudding. Was tasty.

Don's breakfast at the same sitting looked a lot like that, though - a thick slab of spinach, feta, and bacon pie. :^)
