Here are just a few pictures I took the other day at the Prototyp Automuseum in Hamburg last week.

"Prototyp Personen Kraft Wagen Automuseum"

Porsche Type 64, 1939. "Berlin-Rom-Wagen," 140km/h.

Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, 1964. 263km/h.

Delfosse DVD, 1947. 165km/h.

Rometsch Porsche Spyder, 1953. 200km/h.

Audi R8R LMP Prototyp, 1998. 345km/h.

Spoiler alert.

Fahrsimulator ~ a Porsche 356 driving 'simulator.'

Borgward Hansa 1500 Sportcoupé, 1954, 180km/h. One of three of its kind.

That looks like a fun tour! So many beautiful cars!

So after looking at these, I go to WIRED NEWS and find this:

http://www.wired.com/2014/05/dream-cars-gallery/

I love that "electric egg" and the 1947 Norman Timbs Special.

Oh my goodness, wow. Beautiful dream cars, indeed. If only all cars were designed by visionaries!

Cool!!!

I like the last one best. That is one handsome and classy car!

The Kompressor is very odd. I can't imagine it being either comfortable or practical.

Thanks for the show!

You'd look good driving that last one!

You're correct; this was not the Practical Automuseum. ;-)

(^-^)

And now, a song about writing a novel and driving a truck. Not going to tell you how it ends.
