You have it the wrong way round

In this part of the world, men need diamonds too. More than women. They need big, fat, solid gold jewel-encrusted watches and things.

Re: You have it the wrong way round

That's what I said, but he wouldn't listen. He's always spending his money on things he can't wear or drive, and therefore people can't see how rich we are.

Aside, one of these days I'll get him to wear a dishdash with a baseball cap out shopping.

With hands-free headset thing.

Never, EVER forget the hands-free headset thing.

I hadn't forgotten it at all! I almost mentioned it, in fact. It's part of the uniform!

I like the waves, too ~ they remind me of math, or sound. We were pretty pleased with ourselves about the matching thing. =)

Shiny happy jewelry :)

Ooooooh! I love jewelry myself, and those are shiny, shiny! Look at all the diamonds! The gold is so shiny, it looks liquid. I approve.

I showed my husband, all, "seetheprettyringshon", and he grunted non-committally, but he is a plain ring kinda guy. Actually my wedding ring set is fancy, and his ring is plain, so they only match in being white gold. I like the matching thing, though, if possible, because it feels like good mojo. So we bought a plain one and I wear it most of the time. I still love my fancy sapphire and diamond set, though.

Cool, I can see that, too! Sapphire and diamonds, ooooh.. were you born in September, by the way?

Poor guys, it must get dull not getting excited about jewelry or cool tops or this summer's trendy new sandals. I guess they must think the same thing about us when we don't show enthusiasm over their new rotary tools.

Re: Shiny happy jewelry :)

Sapphire must be the September stone, then? Nope, I am a winter baby, but I like sapphires and the fashionable liberals here are giving those instead of the traditional diamonds. I had to lobby for the diamond! Glad I did.

Loved the "sleep talking with Don" posting. Mine *laughs* in his sleep, which is actually kinda disconcerting at times, because he can't ever remember what he dreams. I never had a bedmate who did that.

I scream in my sleep, evidently, quite loudly, and have hit him in my sleep, fighting off dream monsters. If you want to wake me, best get a very long broom handle and poke me from a distance. :)

Re: Shiny happy jewelry :)

Yeah, I know a lot of people are anti-diamond. But they just look SO good!

Don speaks in several different languages in his sleep, usually shouting. (He does other silly things as well, like hiding things from himself or changing clocks.) He has also face-raked me two or three times, hence the title of my friends page.

Re: Dream world adventures

Wow, that sounds highly entertaining, but not restful. Like dozing at a drive-in movie. Japanese, I assume is one of the languages? Shouted Japanese always sounds to me like I'm about to die, or someone it gonna get it.

(He does other silly things as well, like hiding things from himself or changing clocks.)

OTOH, that is good clean fun. Don is obviously possessed. I no longer get up and do things at night in my sleep, which is super, except for I do have complete conversations with Dean. Or so he tells me. I can still re-set my alarm dead asleep if it's within arm's reach, which makes me late to work.

He has also face-raked me two or three times, hence the title of my friends page.

!Rake or be raked! Scratched you, you mean? Yikes. I do disorganized thrashing and ball up my fists and pummel, but without reference to to what's in the room , so I do less damage. Plus I hit like a girl, of course.

Re: Dream world adventures

Haha, slander!!

There was a two or three night period there where I inadvertently faceraked Susan, much like in Pro Wrestling matches. There wasn't any damage though, just a good clean facerake!

For some reason, I was sleeping on my right side with my left hand against my mouth, palm out. Also for a mysterious reason, every night I woke up with a start going "nnnghH!" and arm goes out, facerake. =) I'll see if I can find an actual facerake from a pro wrestling match to show you!
