So I spent much of today wondering what he and I have in common. There are a number of things!
1) We both have Livejournals.
2) We both eat Indian food a lot.
3) We both like Malibu.
4) We both support Barcelona.
That is, he supports Barcelona, and apparently SO DO I, BECAUSE I'M FREE ON WEDNESDAY!!! WOOHOO!! AND I DON'T HAVE TO WORK ON THURSDAY!!! DOUBLE WOOHOO!!!
So that's good news. =)

Chu-hi is an extraordinarily tasty alcoholic beverage. It is a product of Japan. It is not a brand name, but rather a formula that goes something like this: A good shot of sho-chu (a white liquor usually made from barley and popular in Korea), some fruit juice, some sparkling water, and some gum syrup (clear liquid sugar).
In Japan, it comes in a bazillion flavors (grape, peach, yuzu, strawberry, etc) and it's about as strong as beer. A vending machine next to our apartment in Kobe dispensed it in 500ml cans, and when we moved to Nishinomiya, we were meters from a 7-11 which vended chu-hi around the clock. I never meant to co-opt the beverage for my identity; I was probably just really appreciating a cold chu-hi when I started journaling.
You can make it with vodka, by the way. And I recommend strawberry juice.
