We had these crummy fake-nonstick pans.

Don especially found them distasteful.

So we ceremoniously threw them down the chute!

Meanwhile, Don has mounted our good pans this way! He wants me to mention that he ran out of copper polish, so that's why they don't look as pretty as they usually do.

This is new, too. Lids go here!

Re: An Upgrade!!

Kitchen renovation... drool... The Calphalon pots were a wedding gift from my Uncle John. We thought we'd be gifted one or two, and then round out the set on our own, but we were fortunate enough to score the whole set at once! =)

The crummy pans came with my Emirates apartment (new - they were part of the employment package, along with lots of crockery and utensils and things), which was nice, but they didn't live very long. The Calphalons will outlive us!
