lol! my cat will only drink from a running faucet. maybe he is thirsty?
One of our cats insist on running faucets. We get mineral water delivered to us, but Tortoise insists on drinking from the tap.
Your cat will probably only drink from a running faucet because you put the water next to its food dish! They hate that! Which is something I've only recently learned. But also they just like running water too.
This guy isn't thirsty, he's just absurd. You don't see him licking the faucet or anything :P He chills in there while I'm cooking. Freak!
ahh cool.. thanks for the tip, ill have to try that out.
hrmmm... never knew that about the water and food being near each other, none of my previous cats cared.
my new one does, but not at first, only after my past roommate started teaching him to drink from the bathroom sink. Now, he'll only drink from a running tap, I end up leaving the bathtub dripping...
In addition to what antivert
Cats don't like their whiskers to touch the sides of bowls. We give our cats food and water in wiiide dishes.
is he peeing down the drain?
No! He's just chilling out in the most relaxing of places, a gross wet sink. He's totally weird.
I forgot to add that the new kitten has learned this behavior from him and sometimes she also sits in the sink. It could also be from similar genetics though, they have a lot of similar traits.
as gross as it may sound...
that would be kinda nifty! way less litter clumps to scoop!
because cats like sinks?
at first i thought he was whizzin'. and i was like, "either that is the most brilliant cat i've ever seen, or a cat with a kitchen-sink grudge".
maybe it's because it's sturdy and smooth and cool and curvy. that's why i like bathtubs!
I'd forgotten about Catsinsinks.com!!
he`s not taking a leak is he?
He's coolin' his jets.
I used to know a old dog who spent summer afternoons laying across the shower stall, because it was cooler that way, with the least furry parts of your skin on something coldish.
I guess. Not being a cat and all.
