That is such a fun hotel room.
It would be impossible to wake up grumpy there.
And I love the roses.
The roses are my favorite part, too. The whole place is really funky - I would have taken pictures of the lobby if my battery weren't dead.
Soap, shower gel, lotion, and shampoo in a big piece of lucite.
We stay in several Radissons and Le Meridiens, and the two chains seem to be competing with each other for Least Coherent Decorating Scheme. I love it!!
I must remember to scan the Pillow Menu...
I thought the roses were a small framed photo at first, then saw the toilet paper for scale. Holy cow.
Hahaha, I can totally see that, and see how your whole world leaped for a moment. ;-)
I love the colors on that sofa/chair thing.
Me too! And there's one red chair and one pink chair; one orange lamp, one red lamp, and one blue lamp. It's subtle, but if you look in the bed picture, the blue lamp has a HUGE lamp shade!
Nice! It looks like it could be a love hotel. What/where is it?
I like it... very festive. It evokes nostalgic memories of afternoons spent huddled around an old woodgrained Atari 2600 console. Most of those games had little rainbow patterns in them.
The rosy toilet is awesome. :)
I am guessing this is in Japan?
yeah, this has to be the coolest hotel room i've ever seen - i love the tv pic :)
It looks like a clown was murdered there and the trauma of the event reshaped the room.
I stayed in two hotels recently for multiple night stays.. and while the 2nd one in nowheresville NM was nice.. it was nothing compared to this delight.
I'd love hotels like this in the US...
Hotels in the U.S. are really lacking, in terms of both comfort and style, aren't they? I'm kind of rugged and not usually a snob about what kinds of rooms I stay in, but when I stay in American hotels (even so-called 5-star ones) I just notice what ISN'T there. I wonder why?
What's amazing to me is that this is a radisson.. sigh.. bring your creative team to the US!
(it looks like you get to choose your "flavor" on the shampoo or something? well.. those scents together would be a bit clashy so I'm assuming.. I would so go apple!)
Why is it that the US is so beind on the more mainstream creative stuff? I'd like a modern/fun place to sleep, I'm tired of the traditional staple hotel rooms which just look the same no matter where you are... whomever thought that we want and desire boring was just wrong. Stupid old people.
