I promised myself (and sully_for_prez) I wouldn't forget my camera when I went back to Rome. I didn't... but I left it in the hotel room. So I had to use my crappy fon camera. I had fun, though.

And now, some assorted monuments and ruins.

Colosseum.

This is the Trevi Fountain.

Look how many people were there!

Souvenir shop, where I failed to buy pictures of THE POPE for givethesignal.

This guy's face cracked me up.

Walking across a bridge, with lots of markets and people on both sides.

Granted, the place where all those people are standing is REALLY beautiful. I bought a postcard of it, and commented to my friends with me that there were hardly any people in the picture. It's that fountain that you HAVE to throw a coin into if you visit Rome (and then you'll visit Rome again, or marry an Italian, or something like that).

This month is looking pretty sweet. =) I was bitter all August because it was Saudi, Saudi, Kuwait, Syria, Saudi, and more Saudi (though I did get 36 hours in Sri Lanka and 24 in Entebbe, about which I couldn't complain).

But September! September for me is Rome, then Germany, then Athens, then Moscow, then Osaka, then Tanzania! Outragous!
