I arrived at the hotel in New York after 7:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving. After the eight-hour flight it was hard to find anybody motivated enough to go out to dinner, but it was my lucky night. One girl from my crew was meeting a friend from another flight, and it turned out her friend was my friend, too! We went to Eamon's in Brooklyn Heights, and had butternut squash soup, lemon sorbet as the second course, then turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes and stuffing. Then crazy good chocolate cake. Not to mention a few glasses of Burlwood white zinfandel and lots of complimentary hot cider.
Myself, Stella, and Marilyn at Eamon's on Thanksgiving night.
