You're welcome, Mom & Dad. =)

Tasty, healthy, fresh Lebanese food. For breakfast.

I'm pretty sure this is the QE II.

Abra ride across the creek.

Lamp store. It was closed, so we waited.

We called them for a while... even after the sun set... Don had purchased some sophisticated lights, but they weren't open for us to pick them up.

There are more pictures following these, but my computer just decided to stop seeing them? More later?

The Lebanese breakfast looks delicious. The bit of tongue in the 4th pic is funny. Nice pictures.

that first pic, that's the kind of place i'd love to goto with a fedora and some ray bans on, after a night of drinking, nursing a hangover or just not having slept, and just illin, damn, i'm envious! :D

I agree, the tongue on the pic above is quite random and well placed.

I also love the look on Don's face here... it says to me:

"Damn the possibilities, for light shineth down upon my soul from above and the walls of this cavern of possibility, where my own treasures lie dormant within these crystal barricades! For another night shall I walk in darkness; maybe tomorrow will be the end of mine tunnel. Light come forth, I call of you, flood my four walls with your incandescent ability!"

Or something like that...

You know, I've never been to Al Mallah for breakfast. Which is hilarious, because breakfast foods are all I ever order there. Between that and how it stays open till 3 AM, I suppose it is Dubai's answer to IHOP. I really like the way the colors turned out in that shot.

I also wish I was the one who thought of getting a shot of wind towers reflected on a glass building.

If some time traveler came upon that display of lightbulbs, they would surely go "Yes. This is the future."

I mean, look at that.
