We did pick up some other lights Don had ordered from a different store. The lamp store was so bright, we had to wear shades.
Funny happening! I reported for work and signed in for a Lagos flight, and the sign-in machine didn't print a tag for my suitcase. Turns out I wasn't working the flight - I was deadheading, to position for a second Lagos flight starting today, the first of February. So I was a passenger on an eight hour flight which is known to be really busy! Several new flights are starting on February 1, so over 200 crew were deadheading yesterday. I love chaos and confusion ~ it's my element (alongside "strangeness and danger," pajamasaurus).
So I got paid to watch a couple of films for the first time! Bachna Ae Haseeno, and the first two hours of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. (I started watching it before I realized it was three hours long, so I didn't have time for the last hour, oops.) I thought they looked good from the start, but was a bit surprised how into them I got. Might buy both. I love the scores from both films, and I think I need to learn all the songs from both of them.
Speaking of, I bought Rock On and watched it the other day, but didn't love it as much as I thought I would. I liked the songs, and it started off great, but I thought the story lost momentum toward the end, and there were parts of the story I thought did not fit at all. But! The DVD came with karaoke tracks to all the songs!
Aaaaaand on the same subject, we saw a cinema poster for Horn Ok Please the other day, rampling, and I thought of you.
Now. What should I watch next?
