Cat on door is the greatest thing ever.
Also BCBG is evil.
She's the best!
And really? Heh, I'd never heard of it! More evil than other retail?
Eeh. I just hold a deep dislike for the designer because one of my instructors forced his design aesthetic down my throat for a year.
Aha! That would take care of ANY chance it [the designer] had with you!
I hadn't noticed it, but I saw another BCBG or whatever in a different mall yesterday, and went in to check it out. Good grief... who can afford that?
I can remember you mentioning garlic in that way, but not onions.
Ah, okay! Well, you remember it better than I do. :-)
> can't imagine life without
Hee. That could totally be my motto. Pretty much every meal I make starts with a big pot, 1 Tbsp of evoo, 3 cloves of garlic and 1 or 2 onions.
Hell, that could almost constitute an entire meal, so far as I'm concerned!
Crud. I even turned that into an lj_icon, only to realize, on attempting to upload it, that I've reached my limit, and will have to wait another 5 months before it goes up again.
Are they made of gold or something?
Difficult to find where you live?
USE THE BULB, MAN!
/I smell pretty.
And sometimes, I do eat onions and garlic as a main dish. I did it earlier today. A little salt and comino on top... maybe sauté a jalapeño into it as well. And live another day!

Re: Some blurry photos I took just now
I'd throw some photos back, but my camera is in the shop. :-/
When I was at AUS, Amit introduced me to what has become one of my favourite snacks: 1 raw onion, thinly sliced. Add a half tsp of lemon juice, a sprinkle of cayenne pepper, and om nom nom. I was just reminded of this by a F/Book thread, so immediately went into the kitchen to fix some up for myself. Chowing down now, yum!

Ha! Onion with lemon juice is Susan-chow. =D
And thanks to our earlier conversation, I roasted a bulb of garlic and ate it with stewed tomatoes and basil.
It's like a virus!
(A delicious virus....)

What I mean, is I start every meal this way... even chocolate pudding (mmm... chocolate and garlic, together at last).
Ok, not quite, but I'm assuming you get my drift.
Dishes where the recipes call for garlic (or where it's anything approaching a primary ingredient) get (much) more. Like my 40-clove chicken recipe (which I have been known to double to 80). Mmmmmm...

Okay, that's more like it. :^)
I'd lend you icon storage, if I could!!
