I have to say my first thought of Monaco was "that's really ugly". I guess I always thought it was more beautiful. But then, it's small and tons of people want to squish in there so I should not be that surprised. As always, love your pics! I never comment, but I'm always looking.
So now I'm even more curious than I was when it was first posted (which was already representative of some non-negligible quantity): what was up with that later (but now apparently redacted) post you made?
I made the same train journey a couple years ago - Cannes to Monaca, via Juan les Pins and Antibbes. Gorgeous views from the train and yes, Monaco is a concrete mess with a fair share of con men running around the place...!
I did meet some wonderful ladies there who were very kind to me. It's a very walkable town - provided your shoes are comfortable. Lots of hilly roads and off track paths with steep slopes
