Same Hong Kong [May. 19th, 2010|09:45 am]

I got called out on standby to go to Hong Kong ("At Least It's Hong Kong") and I basically did the same thing I always do in Hong Kong: Wander around, eat, buy toys, and take pictures. Here are the pictures.

Wandering around Hong Kong on foot is made much easier by the Central-Mid-Levels escalators, the "longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world." Yet somehow I still managed to exhaust myself when I was going to have to work on my feet all night. Why do I always do that? Spend hours walking unnecessarily, tiring my muscles and blistering my feet, when I have to stand around in bad shoes the entire flight back?

ETA: This is the toy I bought.

We were there for 8 days, and after coming back the girls were so satisfied that they didn't bother us with any requests for anything. Otherwise the little one at least will be asking for something or the other.
