Eating California

Besides drinking, we also did plenty of eating in Mendocino. The first of the drinking pictures are up, and the rest are coming soon to chu_hi_wines. But first, let's look at the foods!

American breakfast. The kind that requires four or five plates. Leaving San Francisco.

Moose Cafe! Goat cheese and date salad.

Walnut, radish sprout, and summer squash salad.

We didn't like it at all.

We swiftly defeated our main courses, too.

The desserts didn't stand a chance. When we were leaving the Moose Cafe, the Moose people called us "a bunch of food haters."

Picking out cheese for omelettes.

I caught nativeinformant and antivert both eating food off the shelves.

Don picked the rosemary for the potatoes outside our cottage.

Breakfast wine, avocado omelettes, and amazing friends!

Nachos at the North Coast Brewing Co. Taproom & Grill. Delicious after we'd been literally lost in the woods!

Fried foods, too, at the North Coast Brewing Co. So good with fourteen kinds of beer.

Mmm. Mendocino Mustard.

Breakfast tostadas on the road to SFO.
