|Thailand, Day Two

Here ya go! The second day of our two day jaunt to Bangkok!
I don't eat McDonald's, but I don't mind taking pictures of it. This one is in the MBK mall that we all love so much.
The real reason we shouldn't trust strangers.
Still in MBK. MBK sells souvenirs that say, "I <3 MBK." You know what? I do <3 MBK.
Huge pile of green papaya in MBK food court, for nativeinformant.
Obligatory river tour. Highly recommended!
When you detour through the canals, you see hundreds of houses where people live above the water.
This is Wat Arun, the "Temple of the Dawn."
Like every other temple we saw, the detail was overwhelming.
In the morning and at night, they light all this up. If you haven't seen it in person, you've probably seen pictures.
There was a fat dog.
And a lazy cat (also for nativeinformant).
Back in Silom: More random cats.
Graffiti seen from SkyTrain platform.
Here you are, mcgillianaire! Here is the beautiful Sri Maha Mariamman Temple again, in front of one of the several churches on Silom Road.
It's even prettier on the inside.
Bhagwan darshan. To present to the gods.
