Here are a few pictures I took in freezing Vienna two days ago. I'm still getting used to this new camera (Olympus Micro Tough) and my hands were numb, even in gloves, so these pictures don't compare to my last trip there (when I was also getting used to a new camera - there's a reason antivert picked out a shockproof, waterproof one this time).
Really huge chalkboard, with shelves to display wine bottles.
Store window. I just liked that lamp.
My colleagues, looking at Segways.
Everything in Vienna is pretty. Even the hotel minibar.
It's so windy here in Dubai. The windchimes sound lovely!
Oh man, Vienna. At some bistro/pub place we had good wine, the most incredible duck and some kind of chestnut-chocolate sauced crepe for dessert. We got so happy Dean tipped like 25%, and tipsy, I button-holed the waiter afterward and told him to tell the chef how amazing the duck was, just heavenly. The waiter clicked his heels and gave a little bow, I think amused that Americans are so over-the-top.
Thanks for reminding me of that happy happy night.
