Day five was fun and relaxing! Again, all of this was on facebook; I don't like to duplicate content too much across platforms, but I'm doing it this time for the sake of continuity. Oh, speaking of, guess what? Today I logged into MySpace to archive my blog there since it is unique and completely different to my LJ blog (essays and fiction I didn't want to put on LJ), and it's gone. MySpace wiped all the blogs. Isn't that nice?
But that was today. Here, here's yesterday!
Spinach, broccoli, tomato juice, lemon juice, Tabasco, spirulina, ice. You people don't believe me, but it's delicious.
Went for a swim.
This is a tailoring shop, where I paid $2.70 to have a dress repaired.
This fence divides Dubai and Sharjah. The portal has been closed, but somebody has cut a new one with wire cutters, just a few meters away.
I bought this to wear to work, as my last work watch stopped running. I still only wear Swatches, after all these years.
And I test drove this car, and I liked it (I liked i-it). Had a hard time keeping the grin off my face when I went back into the dealership. For such a puny engine, the Fiat 500 sure was fun to spin around the block. I'm this close to buying it in baby blue, with all the chrome.
Later I went out for drinks, and I guess I was having too much fun to get any pictures. You'll just have to imagine the too many tiki cocktails, each made from five kinds of rum, with tropical fruits and maraschino cherries, garnished with effortless conversation.
