From Japan, With Love [Jul. 9th, 2013|04:26 pm]
susan smitten

My friend wanted a souvenir of Tokyo, so I brought him some vegetable crisps and a cute-but-sad gift bag.

I put in a can of cantaloupe flavored chu-hi, as well.

But he challenged me to bring him something confusing and strange, something he wouldn't be able to identify, so I added a few sachets of bath salts I bought for myself.

And a bottle of placenta extract you're supposed to drink.

And some other miscellaneous goodies. Freezone is chewing gum. And from left to right: rose flavored eyedrops, sake in a juice box with a straw, glycerin enemas with extra long nozzles, and rubbers. On the box: "For sex to which it can relieve it."

Ah, I miss Japan. The mistranslations are so perfect as to almost be poetry.

"If I am here, can you go out with you?" That seems very zen to me.

Also, I think "For sex to which it can relieve it" should be on all condom containers from now on.
