Edna left for California this morning, after two weeks, three festivals, a castle, endless weird food, and numerous temples. I hope we made it the trip of a lifetime for her. I'm so tired I can hardly see, after staying up all night visiting with her, as well as experiencing the electrifying, mind-bending, plastering frenzy of Chez Scotto. Today I couldn't hear for the pounding in my head, and I don't think I speak for only myself.
Here are some shots of Kobe that Don and I snapped early last week.
Love people were here.
Venus Bridge attracts new and true couples who make the exhausting hike to Sannomiya's best lookout spot. We found it accidentally.
Edna, Don, and lots of locks...
I love Kobe! See the sea?
Don took this picture through the mounted binoculars. Pretty, huh?
Foxes in a nice little shrine on the same mountain. (生田神社?)
